Caller: Claimed to be from Optus

Offering me a 30% discount on my bill if I gave them a code that they messaged me. Wanted personal information to verify my account. I hung up as it felt off. It’s the 2nd time they’ve tried to contact me in a couple of months. Suspect they are trying to hack my phone or my account somehow and need the code to do it. Blocked their number.

Called offering 30% optus discount. Surpisingly they knew many of optus account details. Be careful

I received a call from this number offering me a discount on my Optus account. Asked me to confirm my details (that is give them my details). I said I wasn't comfortable doing that and they hung up.

Offering 70% off my Telstra business account. Wanted all my personal information.Kept him going for a while but obious scam.

i got a call from an Indian women offering a 50% discount due to covid, it was a terrible line, clearly a scam...

I got a call from (02) 8003 3552 to find out my BOD.
I told them I'm not comfortable with revealing my DOB. Sounds Dodgy.

Optus scam,
I was told that due to my great credit history with Optus I am receiving a 30% discount for 3 months. I said thank you so much and hung up. easy to tell a scam when the background noise on the call sounds like a family of 10 trying to have breakfast and the line is terrible. if Optus called me on a bad line like that I think I would need a new provider.

Called several times. Claim to be from optus offering a discount. The last one offered 20% off I told him his colleague offered 30% and he said he'd give me 60% off for 4 months I asked if that would be on top of my employee discount he hung up

pretending to be from local Optus, asking for personal information. Indian accent, delay when talking so coming from overseas.

Scammers offering a discount due to great credit history . I told them they should be ashamed of themselves and he blubbered and stuttered trying to justify his call. Terrible people.

Number is now blocked, called me 4 times in a day

Offered 30% discount for 3 months on Optus
Received the same call 3 days ago. Told them I am not the account holder and asked them to verify from their end what they have on their system.
They could not answer due to privacy!!!
They hung up on me
Trying to get me to quote an sms that was texted to me.

Yep, got the same call today offering 30% discount on my bill. has 13 texts and calls from this number from in the last 4 days.

Same as above - wanted to know the details of my recent accident, though there was not any for many years.
