Caller: A guy saying he was David (with Indian accent) from Telstra This is a scam. He told me he would disconnect the internet within 24 hours. I told him go ahead and call me tomorrow. He hung up. Normally we are advised to just hang up but they would continue to harass us unless they know that they cannot scam us. That's why I sent them a message that they can not scam me. Another message to them is : "I used the computer before you were born", making them unhappy.

Caller: Telstra scammer Same stuff, though his name this time was Michael. He wanted access to my modem. Had exactly the same request from another call 2 days earlier, purporting to be from the NBN. Obvious scam, claiming to know of criminal activity or hackers affecting our internet.

Caller: Telstra scammer Indian Paul pretending to be from Telstra and going to cut internet off. Good luck buddy, we have never been with Telstra. Strung him along for a while with all the usual delaying tactics. Wasted 15 mins of his time. Then he got rather rude and potty mouth. I had a laugh and he hung up. Obvious scam. When will the telcos block this rubbish?
