Caller: Fairfax Sydney Morning Herald Subscriptions Why would you subscribe to a maudlin rag that promotes a maudlin TV network full of crap. ABC does it all factually for me.

Caller: The Sydney Morning Herald. Hung up me when I answered. They rang me seconds after I'd arranged a call-back from them regarding my subscription. They my as well be a Murdoch rag now. I'm cancelling after being SMH reader for 42 years.

Caller: (02) 7966 6900 I phoned 136666 to pause SMH deliveries, expecting past used automated detail entry system. Put on hold, 2 apologies for wait. Offered call back, accepted. Call from (02) 7966 6900, answered but no reply. No idea who had called so I assumed it was not SMH but another nuisance call. Checked number against this reverse phone lookup online and found it was SMH. Very useful. Start again by phoning 79666900 This time a pleasant lass who was very helpful.

Hung up before I could answer. Did not leave a message. Likely about subscription about to expire--I have not received an invoice to renew.

I missed the call to my mobile - thanks to the other helpful comments on this website, the number appears to be in relation to my recent cancellation of "The Age' newspaper delivery. No voicemail message was left.
