Recorded message saying my tax file number had been suspended and a case was being put together - that's all I got before I hung up. Very sketchy and fake sounding.

Phone was silent, then a beep and a recorded "Goodbye". I am assuming this number gathers data on phones that answer and your name. Do not answer it. Block it, or I suspect your number will go into a database and you will receive calls from other numbers.

Says TFN will be used for a Federal court case if you don't press 1.

Scam call, threatened federal arrest or some such nonsense then asked for my name... Im not giving you that, as you will have it if you are legit as you called me

checked with my accountant and nothing outstanding with ATO, therefore a scam.
Third time same message but different number each time, first time landline previous two were from different mobile numbers
