Caller: I don't know- possible scam.

Got a call from this number claiming to be Vodafone, who said they were processing our claim for COVID 19 hardship.
We have not made such a claim and rang Vodafone on there regular number and they have no record of anyone calling us. The Vodafone representative did not recognize the number.

Beware is a scammer. We not a Vodafone customers at all

Saying I had applied for a Vodafone account, I haven’t.

I answered the call but it was a electronic message saying to call Vodafone and gave me a number -1800 185 289) because of my recent application. I applied for a payment plan due to covid-19. They just want to discuss that.

Are you sure it was though? Seems from the other reports that it's another scam playing on COVID

The number seems to be claiming from Vodafone for the hardship form due to Coronavirus. The tricky part is that same guy from this number called me in a different number last weeks, and that time he was claiming to be workin on behalf of Vodafone. How quickly you change your position from "working on behalf of Vodafone" to "Vodafone" directly? It is most likely a scam.
