Caller: “Amazon Prime”

Automated message pretending to be from Amazon Prime. My account is to be auto renewed at $99. Press 1 etc etc - you know the rest.

Had a call from this number today, didn't answer

Caller: stated Telstra on (02) 7251 9503

Stated he was from. Telstra, knew my given and surname. Call was delayed by 3 seconds from speaking to answering, strong Indian accent. I suspected scam and said as much to caller and they hung up immediately. Call now blocked.

Typical Amazon scam. It was an actual person ringing though, rather than the usual automated message. I said, "I don't think you are from Amazon actually, goodbye," and as I was hanging up, I could still hear him on the line, faintly yelling at me lol

Seems I’m glad I didn’t pick up the call today as it’s a scam from the reports above ⬆️

Scam recording telling me to press 1 to confirm a Visa Card to buy gift cards - pathetic

Recurrent beeping upon answer. Assume robocall or scam.

Caller: Said commonwealth bank

automotive voice saying $1000 has been transferred from account and press 1 to cancel and 2 to accept or something like that

Called but I no longer answer unknown callers. No message left. Blocked based on other comments

Caller: Claimed to be from eBay

Claimed something along the lines of verifying I made a purchase for a $500 eBay gift card. I hung up. No return call. September 2023

Said they were from PayPal and $299 would be taken from my a/c

Had a call from this number today, didn't answer

Caller: Visa / Mastercard

Hung up after the msg said This is Visa / Mastercard

They've called twice & I'm not gonna answer if A: I dunno the number & B: They don't leave a message!

Opened incoming call with hullo and before caller spoke there were the usual few moments before caller said your internet is going to drop out. I just hung up. there was no message left. Scam !

If they don't leave a message, I'm not answering.
