scam

I have had several calls from a series of similar numbers over the past few days
ending in 2589, 2583, 2595, 2570
How can we block them if they keep changing the number?

Received a call from "Alex", a guy with thick South Indian accent. He informed me that my Telstra internet got hacked and was being shared for illegal activities. I became quite concerned. He asked me to open Google. I was having lunch and I told him so. he was happy to wait. So I started telling him what I was having, which part I was biting and what I was chewing...more of a running commentary to keep him fully informed. I did not want him to wait for too long so proceeded to wash my hands - obviously, with the water running, he was wondering what's happening, so I let him know that I was washing my hands - it was a bit oily, so needed extra soap...for some unknown reasons, he got impatient and he hung up. SO RUDE!!!

This f*ckers ring you constantly just to scam the vulnerable!
They really piss me off !!

Scam, they just want to hear your voice so they can record it. 12 calls from variants of this number a day 🤬

I’ve had over 14 calls just today alone !!!! Been going on for days and It’s pissing me off. They ring from different numbers but they all start the same. I answered twice. first time silence and I hung up. Second time silence then I said who is this? Stop calling me.
I suspect possibly scam or WISH.com data leak

Can't be a legit call - all hours, weekends too, and never leave a message. If it was a government call (eg contact tracing) there'd be a message and/or self-identified in a message. Had calls from similar numbers including (02) 7251 2585, (02) 7251 2578, 2582, (02) 7251 2594, (02) 7251 2598, (02) 7251 2587, (02) 7251 2579, and more from (02) 7202 7021 and (02) 7202 7017

Answered the call once. Nobody there. They keep calling. I have blocked the number but they still get through. I refuse to answer.

serial scam artist on 0272512xxx if you don't answer scammer redials on a new xxx extension number. Probably a robo caller. Sometimes if you wait long enough you get someone mentioning your name. Suspect that some personal data has been attained from somewhere????
