Caller: Scammers saying from commonwealth bank

They say they are from commonwealth loss prevention. That a payment didn’t go through, so now your card has been cancelled. Do not give them information or call the number they suggest.
It’s a definite scam. Has been reported to commonwealth.

Just got the same pretending to be Commonwealth Bank saying card is blocked until a payment verified Scam call. It went to voicemail…I did not reply.

I claimed to be the Australian Federal Police and told them the call was being recorded and being traced so that action could be taken against them at their location. The guy said he could see what number I was calling from and that I needed to call from the AFP switchboard and then hung up on me lol

Caller: Scammer said Commonwealth bank

They leave the messerge that my Commonwealth bank card was someone used. I call back them, they ask my card number, I said " if you are real Commonwealth bank, you know my card number. " They suddenly hung up the phone.

I didn’t answer the call from (02) 7229 3128 - they left an AI message from “commonwealth bank debit card” saying a purchase was made (gave amount $120.40 and store name “coda shop” ) transaction was declined and for your cards protection have temporarily blocked the card for further verification, to unblock this card ring toll free number, 1300 459 098. BOTH OF THESE PHONE NUMBERS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY PHONE COMPANIES & GOVERNMENT AGENCIY IMMEDIATELY
