SCAM!!!! Recorded female voice stating that an order for $299 has been created by ebay and if you wish to cancel it, you need to 'press 1' to speak to a customer service staff. Then hangs up without even giving you the chance to press one, if you think it's legit.

Got a call from the above number and returned the call later as I couldn't take it initially. A female picked the call and told me I had a pending order for an ebay gift card. This made me immediately suspicious as I hadn't ordered any such card. I told her I would log in to my account to check the order myself. Did not give her any additional info. When I suggested maybe they called the wrong number she repeated my number to me and wanted to transfer me to their 'cancellation department'. Obviously a scam call.

Received a phone call from the stated number which I did not answer, they then left a message that said that money will be debited from my account and that I needed to press 1 to speak to a representative if I did not place this order.

Caller: SCAM SCAM SCAM f*ckEN SCAMMERS! Claims to be EBAY refund call centre
Indian people in a so called 'call centre'. When calling back did not answer as Ebay Call Centre just as a person. Also no account or ID verification process to verify your ebay account. Claims someone has hacked your ebay account and withdrew $299 on a giftcard and then wants you to give them remote access to your phone or device in order to send you an EBAY Refund Form. They ultimately wants access to your online banking. They put pressure on you to fill in this form and download a remote access app. Don't DO IT!!!!!

I got the same female recorded voice for same amount of $299.99 as other person. I had previously gotten the exact same message/voice/amount from +1 (321) 192-4066 (USA) earlier today.
