How to get spam calls...1) Bump Gumtree ad. That's pretty much it. Not sure how many customer calls we get from good ol Gumtree (who now make you pay to re-list your ads), but every single time it wales the spam monsters out there. Blocked number but my phone notifies me in a text message anyway. GRRR

they called me 13 times in 45 minutes and the stopped and then called me another 3 times in a space of an hour.

gumtree bump up spawned a number of one ring calls from (02) 7201 9645 which seems to be +85619482674. Block this caller

Minutes after putting an ad on gumtree got the call on both phone numbers on the ad. Said they could “promote” my ad. I rang up straight away and they continue calling 3 more times on both numbers. Blocked the number. Waste of time m

Calls and tells me they work for the ATO. Telling me I didn't pay enough tax and that I owe them. Tried to convince me in giving my bank details and personal details to them. Number can not be trusted. I do believe this number is a scam number.

I posted my business ad on gumtree, and they called immediately, but then someone else from same number was calling before I’d told the first guy to piss off. So I switched to the new call and started telling them to piss off immediately, and again, my call waiting revealed they were trying to call me while I was already on the phone with them. I didn’t answer the next several calls. d*ckheads. The lot of em!

Everytime I bump up my Gumtree add up, this phone number rings without fail. Trying to sell Google optimisation. As I live in SA, any calls from an 02 number i just don't answer anymore. Some times I answer it and play the Lilly Allen F*** You song. They don't stay on the line for very long.

ATO scammer called us wanting our credit card number and forcing us to pay them $20,000.. They were asking all kinds of personal private questions to steal our identity! Identity theft scammer!!

Kept getting repetitive calls from this lot of retarded whitebait. 4th call cranked up my powerful stereo to max - put phone against speaker on max volume and answered phone - have not rung back yet

Bizarre, I dont have a gumtree ad! Could be a google SEO stuff as the number called our business mobile.

Hadn't even made it out of the room after gumtree posting when the phone rang,
if only they were that quick to acknowledge the stress and annoyance that they cause to everyday people.
