Scam regard ATO, Person on the line said their name was Geoffrey Williams

This is obviously a fake name

when i called him out on his lie he got very abusive

I received a robo message similar to your message. I blocked the number straight away. Obviously a scammer.

Robot voice saying I need to press 1 and deal with an ATO problem or face going to court.

I just got a call from this number saying there was a warrant for my arrest for tax. Well I am not taking any advice from a BOT.

Today I get the message that my tax file number has been suspended. Can't be done, it's a scam so I hung up.

Caller: Don't Know

I picked up and they hanged up straight away, no idea what it was about

Caller: Scam again

tax scam keep going on and on. How does this come to the end? Why are we paying for the data protection and than signing Waiver Forms to be unprotected from personal data losses and our contact details.

Missed call - no vm left. Based on comments here (thank you btw!), assumed that this is the same scammer. Have since blocked this number.

Woke me up early in the morning. Hung up immediately when I tried to answer.

A robotically recorded (Australian) voice, told me "Your tax fine number had been compromised and you must press 1 to rectify the matter". I hung up and blocked the number.

Scam call. Block the bastards.

I received a call from this number moments ago but did not pick it up. I am always wary of unknown numbers calling my phone. Have now blocked this number.

an automated voice told me I was going to court for tax matter and that I was to press 1 now. Obviously a scan so I hung up and immediately blocked this number.
