What a scam! Caller said he was from the call blocking register and that they were going to block all the nuisance calls to my number. I said 'great' but knew something wasn't right. He then proceeded to tell me that my credit card that we paid our last bill with was expiring soon and that I needed to update my details. I told him I didn't have my card on me and he said he would wait while I went to get it. I told him I wasn't giving him any details as I have no clue who he is and he hung up. I tried to call the number back and it said it was disconnected.

Caller: Maude from Telstra - Rubbish of course Name came up 'Maude' - from Telstra (apparently) insisting my internet was going to be down for 4-5 days. I had just been on the phone this morning to Telstra with nbn issues & was expecting a call back - how the hell do these nutjobs know??? Luckily I could barely hear a word she said & asked her to repeat herself about 10 times in over a 2 minute period. She hung up. I suspect I will get a call back later. Definitely Indian/Pakistan/Sri Lankan accent - not sure which, I'm a bit rusty

Caller: TeamViewer Scammers Advising me that they were calling from Telstra and my internet had been hacked. They asked me to log into TeamViewer which allows them to access my computer like they are sitting at it. They then steal passwords and any other information they can. I spent half an hour on the phone pretending to do as they ask. So dodgey. All Indian/Sri Lankin speaking representatives. BEWARE!

Caller: Indian Male voice Called explaining they were from telstra and wanted to speak to me about our internet connection. I told him I don't have internet. Not to be deterred, he said that "you must have it because you are registered with us. How do you explain that?" I suggested that I didn't have to explain anything to him. He said, "well, you're registered". I asked where was I regisistered, how and by whom. He seemed to get angry and raised his voice. Then I kinda let fly a bit and suggested he didn't call me back.
