Call from a lady with very hard to understand accent saying she was from Telstra and wanted to discuss my internet account being hacked. I said I couldn't hear her properly and would call her straight back, she refused and said she would call me back, which she did. I did not answer the second call. I then rang Telstra and they confirmed they had not made any such call to me and the way the call was worded was not how they would call anyway.

They hung up after a 10 sec delay

Received call from this number today July 14 at 4.15pm but did not answer it. Tried to call the number back and got "invalid number" message. How do these scammers use legit sounding numbers to try and fool us???

Foreign gentleman called saying he was from Telstra. He was calling supposedly because of viruses on my internet, I hung up.

Saying I had internet problems and that one of my computers were infected. I go with the line I don’t own a computer then they hang up
