I don't know whether these people hijack legitimate phone numbers, but I received a call on my mobile from this number late on a Saturday afternoon. There was the usual overseas call centre delay before someone with a Pakistani or Indian accent said his name was Mark and asked to speak to Mr [my surname] and then said he was calling about the government solar rebate scheme. I told him he is trying to commit fraud and to f*** off and hung up.
