Caller: Scam Stated that they were calling me from Commonwealth bank regarding an issue with my account then asked if they were talking to this person going by this name. Funny as the name they asked me is my FB name which is not my real name. Definitely scam but this also has me questioning FB as well.

Got a call from this number but chose not to answer as didn’t recognise the number. No message left so suspect a scammer

I appreciate being able to check these numbers. Thanks everyone! I missed a call from this number today. I don't live in NSW either. I tend to ignore numbers that don't come up as already being registered by their name on my phone, and jump on here to see if anybody else has received calls from the number.

Caller: Didn't answer Based on these reviews I'm glad I didn't answer. I don't know anyone from Wagga. Didn't leave a voicemail so I figure it wasn't important. Im so tired of these calls. Im a business owner and it really does annoy me that there is nothing that can be done about these hijacked numbers.

I picked up and there were long delays and pauses. She said she was ringing about my internet connection. I was pretty direct and quizzed her back and she hung up the phone.

Caller: Not Amazon Automated message started playing after I answered. Said it was Amazon and that my Prime membership was going to be renewed today and I would be debited $99. I could press 1 if I wanted to cancel. I hung up at this stage because I don't currently have a Prime membership and I knew Amazon would not contact me in this manner for renewals. I did get on Amazon chat to report the call.

Caller: Unkown Almost all unknown numbers to my mobile are scams these days. This one got autoblocked as they were not in my contacts. I am confident it was a scam call. Wonder why Telstra hasn't blocked them yet.. oh yeah,. because they don't want to have to pay to protect their customers....
