Caller: crank call

it rings regularly but optus has it as a disconnected number so i assume its an overseas internet caller using this as a cover to make it look legit

It's a scam looking for your personal computer detail.

They just called me from VT computers .. apparently I have a virus. ... Scam and indian accent.

Computer malware (remote access) scammer.Before I hung up could hear others with same spiel in Indian call centre.
Worryingly they asked for me by name when they called.

Tried to ask personal questions about my computer. Made them run around in circles for about 5 mins for fun then told them to go fk themselves

Four calls in one day from this number. Two on a fixed line phone and two on my mobile. each call just hung up without saying a word. Can't the powers to be do something about these calls.

I’m worried that this is one of the scams where they get you to say “yes”
I was asked my name multiple times until I stupidly said yes then they hung up

Called from TPG it something similar about a problem my computer has.

Usual "computer has some issues let me fix it" scam call. Hung up after multiple requests on what company he called from.

Claims to be from VT support the same old “your computer has a virus scam”
