I never answer unknown numbers, and had had several calls from this number.
I checked this site and saw that others had advised it was to do with notifying re power outage to an address with medical equipment, so next time the number came up I answered.
That's exactly what it was and it was a really nice lady advising that there'd be a power outage.
If I hadn't of looked up this site, I never would have answered (as unknown callers who don't leave messages are pretty much always trying to sell you something.....except in this instance as it turns out!!).
This is an excellent service, but would have saved the caller a lot of effort if they'd have just left a message. Maybe they need to confirm that you've got the message by speaking to you.
Had a call from the same number about 5 days later, which recognising the number, I answered......this time to notify that they power outage had been cancelled :-)

My phone said it was coming from Port Macquarie. I let it ring out and it wasted no time in leaving no message, which was a super-humanly fast reaction, I thought. I called back and got a tone I've never heard before: beeeeeep ... beeeeeep ... the beep is about 1.5 seconds and the pause is about 0.5 seconds. Clearly some bogus automated thing.

Have had Essential Energy out to address electrical issue
However they could not fix it as likely solar equipment fault

Just read online it is ok
I have had power outage problem, maybe they were checking if fixed??
