Claiming to have stopped my international call centre calls. I don't think that is possible unless he is associated with my service provider in which case they can block incoming international calls but it would include all calls, not just call centres. I hung up before he went any further. Another scam I think!!

How can they put a block on my phone line? they needed to know the expiry date on my credit card. does this mean they already had my card number?. who are they?

Unsolicited call, asked to speak to partner (had his initial and surname only) - I asked what it was about, and the caller said they were about to install a call blocker on our landline? I hung up as I know this is not possible - only your phone provider can do that - why have a landline to have all incoming calls blocked....

Indian male voice. Claimed they were from the "Do not call register" and asked for confirmation of details they had on record. When asked for credit card expiry confirmation I asked how this was relevant to the "do not call register" and they eventually hung up. I said early on I thought this was a scam and he persisted. I said that I will just register with the service myself. SCAM call definitely. Do not give any details at all- hang up if someone says they are from the "Do Not Call Register or Service etc".

Indian accent lady called knew my address and said that they were going to block all calls that I didn’t want . I told her I didn’t understand her and let her go on with her speil abit then told her she sounds like a scam and makes no sense at all

claiming from "do not call register office", telling me my registration about to expired. It another Indian scam.

Called but did not respond when I answered, so I hung up. Another number for my call-blocked. Had a call earlier today from a 'Private' number, an Indian female reading her scam blurb purporting to be from Telstra technical department concerning 'faults' in my computer ..... (but I'm not with Telstra). They give honest Indians a bad reputation.
