I just got one. Recording with female speaking in Chinese. Don't know what they are up to but very suss.

i just got the very same call. hung up right away.

No idea. Don’t speak Chinese.

Recorded message, possibly in Mandarin or Cantonese. Unable to understand although pauses in the message may have indicated a direction to press a number. I suspect a scam in which the caller hopes to get lucky and reach a native speaker.

I also got this scam call today. Block the number.

Answerd the call from ‭(02) 6228 3999‬ ID came up as cambarra Australia thinking this is weird answerd it thinking it was a telemarketer and it was a recorded message from China or somthing had no idea what the lady was saying in recorded message hung up I call the number back and it saids busy so I blocked the number.

My phone noted this as a telemarketing or scam call on incoming so I chose not to answer.
When I checked message it was 30 seconds of what sounded like prerecorded female voice speaking in an Asian language.

Received a call and answered. It was a recorded message in an Asian language. Very strange!

Same issue - left voicemail message - repeated 2-3 times. Some Asian language which was useless leaving a message. Might even have been North Korea - telling us all to watch out?????

Definate scam

Did not pick up call. Left voice message. Sounds like auto system saying in mandarin ‘you have an important notification’. Who is this calling out with auto system?

Previously heard friend got scam claiming as China governments

Recorded message in Chinese. Let it play for a few seconds and then hung up. Searched the number and appears to have come out or the Chinese embassy in Canberra. Either way it's blocked now

Called my phone and I answered. Like others have said it is a recorded message in Chinese, which I don't speak. No idea what it was about but it was annoying.

Same as others, message in Chinese or something. couldn't understand a word.

i googled it and it is from Australian Capital Territory
Embassy of the People's Republic of China.

Apparently from Chinese Embassy in ACT. I received this call a day after a call from Hong Kong (China). Also had a message left on my phone in Chinese.....

Recorded msg was in an alien language - seems like it was Chinese.

have ring my number three times in last hour, some sort of Chinese recorded message. I don't need this sort of crap from these people.
