Press certain number and it will actually lead you to an actual person who speaks Chinese
From there you have 2 choices, 1. Request them that you are not Chinese (Prob best to say it even if you are) hence stop calling this number.
2. Yell Taiwan No.1 / Free Hong Kong and either hang up for proceed with repeating it till they do. You will prob get more frequent calls from them but hey, at least they are mad this time, not you.

Got a call on my mobile from this number and it said Canberra. I answered and there was silence, I didn't wait, just terminated the call. When I googled this number I got a list of Chinese entities. I've flagged it spam and blocked it.

Caller: Asian language possibly Chinese Female recorded message in an Asian language possibly Chinese. A Chinese person owned the number some years before I received it from Telstra. I have sometimes had a few calls a day but they come from different numbers every time and mostly not Australian. I block the scam numbers every time and currently have over 60 blocked numbers all with the same or similar recordings. On the occasions I have tried to call back, the numbers are not connected.

Caller: it appears to be the # listed on website http://komatsu-car.net Like everyone else I received a recorded message in Chinese. When I searched for the phone number I found the website http://komatsu-car.net/ shows it as their main contact number. Also on the website is a Fax number (02) 6228 3603. Maybe we should all start mass sending faxes to them in response?

I live in New Zealand but I was contacted by this phone number. I answered (in English) and the caller just hung up. Not sure what to think but after seeing others' complaints, I believe it was a scam call. I don't know if there's any legislation around scam calling from Australian phone numbers, but is there something someone can do? It's frustrating receiving these calls.
