Chinese voice recording.... blocking

Chinese cûnts ringing me again!

Received call 6 April 2018 approx. 2.45pm from (02) 6228 3948. Asian dialect. Hung up.
total scam.

I say harrow? But no wun ther... So mee hung up fone...

As soon as I arrived for a holiday in Canberra, ten minutes after I arrived, this number called and immediately hung up. Creepily enough, the Call also came from Canberra.

It speaks in Chinese said something final important notice from chinese embassy🙄

Mandarin language message saying that it’s Chinese immigration trying to contact me. It’s urgent and it’s the final call. Definitely a scam.

Answered call, woman speaking in Chinese!! Listed as calling from Canberra on my phone!

Called back, they declined. but everyone's saying a chinese dude spoke so it was a chinese massage.....

Did not answer, went to voicemail. Pre-recorded message with a lady speaking in Mandarin, saying there is a parcel waiting for collection at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China and it is a final reminder with options to press some numbers to proceed. Doesn't sound legit. Suggest blocking the number.

What really needs to be questioned is the pattern of similarity such as, did all of the people affected by this mysterious caller purchase their cell phone handset via EBay through an overseas or local (Chinese?) supplier? And what is the make and model of these phones in question? It could well be a case of pre-purchased embedded system Malware or spyware designed specifically to identify any so-called "Dissident Voices"(?)
