Called by (02) 6228 3948, but I didn't answer. I received an automated Chinese voicemail, although I have no idea what it said. Seems pretty fishy, so I blocked them.

same thing , the chinese prerording was left on my mobile voicemail message.
Given it was from canberra i called back but line was busy.
strange thing is recieved a call around tgevsame time but on the home landline. The indian speaking lady triedseceral times to explain to me that somebody was using our internet after midnight.
She repeated a question 3 times before politely saying sorry and hung up.

When i realised the mobile missed call ,I quickly reset modem in case they traced the line.

Claim it was China Embassy in Australia in pre-recorded with a package you haven't collected. When press "9" as advise got transfer to a person.
Beware they are collecting your personal details by asking simply question. Do not get scam.

Recorded Chinese voice speaking in Chinese. Have no idea what this about. Suspect telemarketers.

It claimed to be Chinese embassy in Australia. But the guy who I got transferred to speaks Taiwanese accent. Really fishy. Had no idea what he is talking about. Definitely a spam

I just get this phone call from Canberra. I'm Chinese and I understand that voice is mandarin said like "You got a very important mail (or something) in Chinese Embassy, press 9 to get further information". I'm pretty sure this is a scam targeting Chinese so everybody just hang up this call.

I've had lots of ID stolen recently and also unauthorized bank withdrawals. Is apparently identification thrives....but what would our countrys security know??my bank even told me to call back another time :/

Scam. Picked up, then started to hear this message in Chinese, saying they are from the Chinese embassy and I have an important document to be picked up, this is the last reminder...followed their instruction and pressed 9, then got to a guy who can not speak or understand English at all...

I just got a missed call from this number, tryed to recall but it looks like a busy line all the time, I don’t know anyone from Camberra

called me today and my phone flagged it as a Scam or Fraud number , so on the blocked list it goes . Actually left a message that could not be converted to text .... hahaha
