Yes, another Robocall. First a call from Southport Qld, (07) 5641 1606 . Now this number from Canberra. An automated message claiming to be the ATO. Fake pre-recorded message threatening arrests due to unpaid tax debts. DO NOT ANSWER

however, when you type the number into Google the below website comes up with the number list as the ATO:

I was called by ‭(02) 6216 2480‬ and ‭(02) 6216 1858‬ (both are from Canberra) within a week, a short delayed after picking up before a recorded message threatening me of a tax debt whatsoever. absolute rubbish.

Ever heard of Scambaiting people? Get onto it if you have time and I recommend you answer the phone. Talk to them for as long as you can so it wastes their time. Great fun

Had a few missed calls from this number the last few days. I finally answered it and it was saying that this is the last reminder for the taxation issues and that I will need to hold the line for one of their agents to take the call.
100% SCAM....

Number called me, claimed that I called them, then asked for my details to bring up my files. I told thyem I will not as I do not believe they are the ATO. Caller hang up. If you get called from this number, respond with "Sergant Smith, Australian Federal Police, how can I help you?" ;-)

same ATO scam - asked for my name and address - when I replied that as she called me threatening to arrest me, I would presume she would already have that information...?!!
she hung up....

ATO Scam

received this call, a small delay after picking up and a recorded message saying "this is a final reminder from Australian Taxation" i did not wait for it to be finished and hung up. this is 100% a scam.
