Scam ATO voice message threatening final notification before arrest on tax fraud.

ATO scam - give them fake details, stupid addresses, put them on hold whatever just waste their time. Too bad we don’t have a “Lenny” number to forward them too...

I legitimately hadn't paid my tax because of an error that occurred and seeing this call and knowing that the ATO is based in Albury New South Wales I was immediately reminded that I needed to pay my tax called them straight away and rectify the issue

Tried calling back .. but I get a busy tone. Got a call from another number ‭ (02) 4017 0133‬.. with a recording of a man saying he is from ATO and I need to callback on a number or else they will issue an arrest warrant.

‭They tried calling from (02) 6216 1111 number a few days ago and I never answered as I found this thread and blocked them. Today I get a call from ‭(02) 6216 1115‬ , so they are persistent!! I thought I’ll answer just for the fun of it.. an automated service pretending to be the ATO. Sounds bad and threatening. You will think the AFP will crack on these things ...

I just received a hang up call from this number. Thanks for your information. I will be wary if they call again.
