I called back number (02) 6216 1110 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.

Said it was the ATO. Person even gave me an "employee id" Name and call reference No.

Rang the ATO and it is a scam.

Called back, say they are ATO switchboard. No answer. Almost certainly fraud.

ATO is apparently out to get me. Automated recorded message. Second call in a week but using different phone numbers.. first one was (08) 6102 0155 from Perth and today this number which shows Canberra. Scammers must of woken up and felt Canberra was a more legit location to try and scam us on.

they have obviously changed numbers from (02) 6216 1111 - it is the exact same recorded messages pretending to be the ATO threatening arrest / court action
