Caller: Citibank Fraud Dept Got a call from this Canberra number following two SMSs late at night. I did not proceed with the automated call, but rang the bank's 13 number this morning. They confirmed the fraudulent activity on the card which they had blocked.

Caller: Citibank I called Citibank and they confirmed that (02) 6189 2894 and it's the caller display number for their Fraud team. I was further told to call back the Fraud team on their hotline 1300 550 216.
For your maximum security, you should always contact the Citibank customer service hotline shown on their official website whenever you are in doubt.

Caller: Scam robot Robocall claiming to be from security deptartment
Said my "name" except they only got it partly right. Real bank robot would not make that mistake. Came days after I had already cancelled my card due to fraud. Confirmed with real phone number for security department (Not in Canberra but Sydney) and yes my card had already been cancelled prior to today. And the security department confirmed they do not use robocalls. Just standard SMS requesting you call the phone number they advertise on their site. This phone number is not one of the Bank's phone numbers and is located in the wrong City.

Call came after I had made a transaction on my Visa that was out of the norm for me (overseas company). Called the number back and was connected to Interactive Voice Recording (IVR) >>> “Please hold while your call is directed to the next available FRAUD AGENT” followed by "please key in the 6 digit one time PIN ??given in our initial contact???
As I did not have a PIN I ignored this and waited for this to cycle 3 times of not keying in code “Please hold, one of our FRAUD AGENTS will be with you as soon as possible” >>> transferred to agent.
