SCAM automated prerecorded call pretending to be from ATO or misc legal department

This company claim to be the ATO and said I owe them money. They said I'm under surveillance via a tip off. Person on other end said if I didn't pay immediately via my personal details they'd have someone come around to hurt my kids.
The ATO wouldnt do that.

Got a call saying my house is under surveilance and affidavits have been filed against me. Total scam.

This number also called me claiming to be from the legal department of the ATO saying my house is under surveillance. Scam.

That's horrible!!! The recorded message they left for me said my house was being surveiled! These scammers should be prosecuted!

Definitely a scam. The ATO would contact you either in writing or via phone in person with valid ID. I have informed the Australian Federal Police & would all advise to do the same.

Recently got this call. Didn't bother calling back as it appears to be a scam.
Suggested that I was subject to an affidavit and my premises was under surveillance for legal action.

Call received this week 21/3/17 - as above Call advises that the person is subject to litigation and are under surveillance & will face legal action in they do not respond.

Received the recorded message from the 'Australian Taxation Office' - very threatening, even when you know it has to be a scam.

Forceful and impressive voice message, demanding a call back. Could easily fool people.

Got a recorded message saying house is under surveillance and to call back...total scam...do not waste any time on this sad sad person....

Recorded message saying you are under surveillance and are being sued. Hang up.

This is a scam and is known to the ATO. The number does not belong to the ATO and the threats on the message are not legit. ATO is currently investigating these calls\numbers and it is confirmed to be a fraud!

I got today too. It's scam call. Under surveillance and ask call back. How the police didn't do nothing about the scam call

Just received a pre recorded call from (02) 6188 6058 claiming to be from Australian Taxation Office legal department and I am under surveillance that if I fail to return call, I would be prosecuted.

Threatening phone call stating that they were calling from the ATO and that legal action would be taken against me if I didn't call me back and also threatened that my house was under surveillance.

just happened to me - sounded so serious called back and they hung up!

Also had a missed call from this number. I won't bother calling back, I figure if important - leave a voice message or call again. I have to say, ever since I advertised my car online, I am now getting more "cold" calls, including from overseas.
