spam call I entered random comp to win an IPhone and have been plagued by emails and phone calls since !

Same as "Anonymous" - tried entering a comp, but was then asked to sign up for various surveys, insurance companies, and other comps. I started to subscribe to some of them and then cancelled out of the whole thing, including the original comp but keep getting phone calls, which I don't answer, and emails which I don't open, just unsubscribe straight away! I'm adding the phone numbers to an "Auto reject" list on my phone.
Unfortunately, I think some of the companies have multiple phone numbers, so if one number gets rejected, they'll try calling on another number!

Yeah he just called me then but I didn't answer. yesterday a different number called me several times (02) 6100 5394 so I blocked it. Next time they call me I'm gonna say you have won a trip to bali

I have been bombarded with calls in the last week. I was stupid enough to apply on line on facebook about Mystery Shops for Aldi.

Same, I received 2 calls today from (02) 6100 5353, then a call from (02) 6100 5394 and then after blocking them i received another call from (02) 6188 5913

I have been receiving calls from Canteen in which I am now a donor thennot 5 minutes Later I got a call from the royal Society for the blind. I already donate to animals Australia, Lukemia Foundation and as i worek for the Salvo's I donate alot to overseas Child Sponsorship and other Kids events. When I told them I was not able to assist they continued with their spiel in the hoe of changing my mind. Very annoyed as called me during work hours and then called me later that evening. as i have ignored the number and not answered they have tried to call me on numberous occasions since and thre reason they call andhang up as they have a dialler system which calls 3-4 numbers at the same time and the first poor sucker who picks up gets connected. And all this because i answered an ALDI Survey offering $500 grocery vouchers to people who completed it. Damn sick of all the B*&^%$%^T and should be made illegal.

All of these annoying calls come from competitions. I started to fill in my details for a competition and changed my mind and exited. I submitted nothing. Now getting heaps of calls. I have an app on my phone called "hiya" and it picks u scam numbers and blocks them for me. I know it is in the Play Store, not sure about iPhones.

Called to say I entered a comp for vouchers.. which I didn't.. So, instead of answering his questions, I asked him questions.. Said he was calling from South Africa, head office in Sydney Australia .. BS BS BS .. he gave me another number to call back on (02) 6188 5913 .. a girl answered .. she tried the same thing.. told her if it was a comp, the are LAWS in Australia with TC numbers etc for raffles and lotteries.. she was lost for words.. the only name she had was my 1st name and nothing else.. which they phished for more.. I called them scammers and terminated the call ... IDIOTS

Received a call from this number after blocking other numbers that are commented on above... If you want to call me and I don't answer leave a message or don't bother calling me.... obviously spam...

They just keep calling from different numbers
(02) 6188 5913, (02) 6100 5394, (02) 6100 5353. Block one number and they ring from another.

I have had multiple calls from a few numbers after stupidly applying to do a mystery shop... numbers are (02) 6100 5353, (02) 6100 5394 and (02) 6188 5913, I have blocked all so far but it seems once you block one they try with another number!

Yes I got a number of missed calls from (02) 6100 5353. I blocked the number on my phone then early evening I got a call from (02) 6188 5913. Then told them to remove my number from their list. Not sure if I well get another call from them but better not. All this was cause I enter a competition on Gumtree. The funny thing is I said no to all the survey answers as I didn't want to be contacted but I still am. Not happy thought Gumtree was better than that. Learnt my lesson now wont enter any competitions online again. Thanks to the previous posts as they helped, specially the person that entered all the numbers.

Have blocked the number but everyday they call from a new number, 2 to 3 times a day, everyday for about a week so far.
