I called back the number (02) 6188 5495, rang and got disconnected automatically

Think it is like similar ones that are asking for donations. Cold call you but when you call back is auto disconnected.

I activated a new data sim with Optus last Friday. Today (Thursday) I started getting spam calls to the data sim from this number. Being a data sim I didn't give the number out to anyone except had to enter it to register after installing the Optus Sports app.

very annoying calls sick and tyred of the phone calls rings twice hangs up and rings about one week late on 3 occasions like to have the police to do something about these calls

Some person NOT speaking very clearly, no idea what she was on about 😡 some survey thing I think. Then I asked where she got my number from, oh it’s on the register of Australia. My number is NOT in any phone book. So I told her “NOT Interested in this, goodbye an blocked another scammer. Bloody sick of these calls.

40 attempted connections one after the other to my phone at 11:45am AEST on 03/Oct/2020.
The number is blocked through my router so they do not actually ring, but they registered in the VOIP log.

Didn't answer, phoned back and got "this number is not connected"

Said her name was Sophie Thomas from Your Community Feedback Centre. I hung up.

Suspected scam caller phoned more than once about a fundraiser.
Phoned back and immediately hung up.

Caller: Some Charity in Australia

A female voice, wanting a commitment of a donation to feed the hungry people in Australia. I did not trust them as being genuine so I was not thinking about donating. She spoke very posh & distinct but I was not getting sucked in. This number has had 33 complaints this year. Spam report card for this number has a spam score of 100%

lady claims to be for anti bully cooperation asking for donation. I ask if they have a website they claimed they don't need to have a website to be a real as they are only new. When i ask for there company website lady started shouting and said all you need to donis donate
