Caller: Said they were from the Tax office

Felt suss so I hung up

Caller: A man purporting to be ATO Canberra

I hung up because if it was ATO and you rang back it would go to the ATO switchboard usually. It was a scam I'm sure

I had a call from the same number left on the ans machine saying there was a an outstanding legal action against us and I needed to contact them. Reported to scam watch

I got a call from a girl 2 hrs ago reg same thing - I know its a scam!

A gentleman called today explaining he was from the Taxation Department. He had my address and said he needed my tax number and bank details. Obviously this is a scam, I just want to know where it's coming from.

i just received  a call from the same number (02) 6176 4485, asking me to donate some money for children in Asia,
by depositing  200 I'll get 5000 back? SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm please beware these people are good.
