Continuously calling me trying to make me pay taxes... I'm sixteen, I don't have a legal requirement to pay taxes

Received same message left on Telstra answering service - 2 on 26th Feb 2016, person with same name but number is (02) 8310 6861.

Glad I decided to google this. Just had the same call from Nikki Johnson claiming to be from the ATO, requesting a call back on (02) 6152 8638, all the info exactly the same re taking action...don't ignore. I did actually call back and got an engaged signal. Thought it was a bit creepy.

Same Nikki johnson voice mail "call us before we take action against you.." i have previously received this call from people who said cops are goin to come to my door and arrest my husband if I don't go to post office and pay yhem $1500!!!!!! So i knew this was a fake too.

It seems the number keeps changing as people realise what is going on. Still the contact person is Nikki / Vicky Johnson. Updated phone number that these scammers are using: (03) 6121 4138.

Same. A guy called the other day from the ATO to tell me a warrant had been issued for my arrest. I told him to f*ck off. Have since received several of the recorded messages from Vicky Johnson.

I have had the same message left 4 times in the last 2 days from this "Nikki Johnson". !!!

I have had 3 messages left in 2 days to call this number (while one being recorded by my home answering machine today they dialled again and so it was diverted to my Telstra 101 message bank - talk about persistent!) identical (recorded) message on each occasion.
Transparently bogus, but having had a simlar message 2 weeks ago am amazed at the number of repeats. Also wondering what they are after??

received call at 10.20am 8/9/15 sating it was Vicky Johnson from the australain taxation office and to call back immediately on (02) 6152 8675 due to an urgent tax matter- SCAM ALERT - DO NOT CALL BACK AND REPORT CALL TO SCAM ALERT AND TAXATION OFFICE- DO NOT GOVE YOUR DETAILS OUT !!

07/09/2015 My daughter received a call from this number today, she was in tears, these people are low lifes, she rang me totally devastated and terrified, they told her the police would be around to arrest her within an hour. When I arrived she was in a ball on the floor bawling her eyes out, she couldn't understand what she had done wrong as an accountant had always done her tax. These people need to be caught and stopped.

Have had this number call my home phone 5 times today. The last one I answered just for the heck of it and yes, it was "Nikki Johnson" from the ATO asking me to call her back on (02) 6152 8695. Needless to say I didn't. I wish I could block the number!

Called left message at 12.30pm 4/09/2015 - these guys are still active. Be aware!!

I suspected immediately is was a scam. What low lives. I do feel for people, particularly old citizens, who get very worried by such harassment.

2 messages left within an hour, both exactly the same as other have posted. Nicky/Mickey Johnson ATO legal action etc etc. I'm registered with the Do not call but doesn't seem to help as been getting several 'dodgy' numbers popping up on caller ID recently. All different. If I don't recognise number I let machine get it and check number on your site which is most helpful. Cheers.

Another call and same automated message left - that's two calls within an hour! Maybe they're getting desperate as their phone bills mount up!

Yep, me too today - Nicki Johnson (02) 1688 5611. Smelt of a scam. Thanks for your advice. Call ignored.

I know alot of people who keep getting these calls.

At least it is a local call for me in Canberra. My first call came yesterday and was a person asking me about whether I had my fraud insurance up to date. I said no I did not and hung up on him. Today was the recorded call telling me to call Nicky Johnson on the above number with the same threats as everyone else. They were so nice about telling me to take care and have a nice day. I have it recorded, so will keep it for entertainment. I'm sure there will be more!
