Received a voice msg on my home phone saying that he was from the Aus Crime Commission and they needed to talk to me about an outstanding debt. Total scam never rang back

Brian Allen called saying he was from the Australian Crime Commission saying my physical address was under investigation. I hung up and he called back and left a message to call this number he even gave a case file number. His english seemed good but the accent was strong. The call was from a "Private Number" and It is suspicious

I got a call from Chester Benn, Senior Sergeant with the Australian Crime Commission, saying they had a warrant for my arrest for non-payment of a tax reassessment. Did the same heavy stuff, I'll be arrested, etc etc. Unless I pay $2321 through a Western Union today. etc.

Just received a call from someone called Brian Allen asking for my husband
I asked what it was about--he said it was a federal tax notice that was left at our front door twice --knew my address too although I didn't confirm it-I asked for his number
which he gave and said I would call back--just checked online and found out it was a scam

I have received voice calls from someone claiming to be from the Crime and Misconduct Commission working for the ATO saying they I was about to be arrested for tax evasion and fraud. They claim the police would be arriving with a warrant for arrest in 45 min. It is a scam. Be careful !
