This mob are a con, they pretend to be affiliated with government grants and request a fee of $495 to have access to these grants. (By the way it is free to access these grants)

thanks for the feed back, I had received emails so they called me and yep 497.00 they want to access grants, thank good I googled their number and this feed back came up. Cheers google as I thought it might be a scam.

same deal for me and the mrs. and also gave us a 1800 813 863 number to call her back. that asian needs to improve her english before pulling this stunt again

Thanks so helpful, they called me and I found it weird they wanted to charge me after a 5 min conversation. Overseas accent. They won't stop calling. I blocked their number.

this is a phinising scam BEWARE - access to goverment portals is free - its just the goverment website - saying its a portal is mileading also - you do not need to pay anyone to apply for a grant or loan, its a scam run by a grubby asian

They only rang once and didn't leave a message HOWEVER, about 6 weeks ago I was checking my Paypal account on another matter, when I saw a Pending Transaction for $250 to be paid to Australian Business Financing, which I had not arranged. I contacted Paypal to block the transaction. I only add this because the comment 'another possibility...' mentions this organisation in their list of businesses that may be associated with this number.

Okay I rang the number (02) 6111 2984 and listened to the prerecorded message, prompt 3. Its the Business Financing Center,gave a office address. After a internet search, here's the result. http://www.australiangovernmentgrants.org/contactus.php

he he, i remember working on one of the first ever call centres in australia back in the early '90s. we were APRA, Apple, Dulux, Commonwealth Bank.. gosh too many to name. 6 of us uni students working for a marketing firm in sydney. good money, great environment, flexibility considering the options when you are out of school and at uni, overtime on weekends depending on what advertising campaigns were on TV/ sunday newspapers.

Hear that the working conditions (not at that firm, but call centre jobs period) are the pits these days.
