Same pretending to be ATO but sounded Indian. Interesting they left a voicemail whereas most scams don’t.

American accent. Threatening me with a 'law suit' if I didn't call back. Quite frightening, i didn't call back.

I answered the call, it was a computer generated voice....a warrant would be issued for my arrest if I didn't get back to them immediately. This is the second time this has happened, first was approx 3 months ago but it was a voice mail first time, I rang back and it just rang through without answer.

Did not identify themselves. Said if I didn't return the call, they would call the police and have me arrested.

Voice recorded message. Pretending to be the ATO filing a lawsuit and arrest warrant. ATO has advised do not call the number back, provide any personal information or engage at all. If you are contacted report to the ATO on 1800 008 540, 8.00am–6.00pm Monday to Friday
