spam, (02) 6100 5399, blocked

Stupid telemarketer!! gggrrrrr

My number was put in to a internet survey accidentally by a bonehead called Gary Eberling. Rang the number provided by Bec in this thread and removed my number - lady advised it would take up to 48 hours and to answer as many calls as I could to advise directly in the meantime or else it keeps going through an auto dialer.

Second call today - I answer, don't speak then hang up. I have a few other ways of not talking to them too. You could ask them for their home number and you'll call them back when it is convenient for you.

Yep number keeps calling me realy anoiying because i am expecting a important call

Telemarketing scammers add to block/reject list (02) 6100 5399)

Have been called numerous times by several similar numbers (like everyone else here apparently!). (02) 6100 5399, (02) 6100 5356, (02) 6188 5917. Every time I block them, another extension calls multiple times in one day. I never enter any online comps so not sure how they got my number...

I'm getting at least 2 calls per DAY from each of these ****holes... they keep changing their numbers so blocking them doesn't do a thing. I stopped answering my home phone because of this and now it's happening on my mobile... this sucks!!

Yup rang me said I entered a survey or some such, I said I did not, she said ok sorry and hung up! And the point of all that is?

The calls are from Brands of Choice - Competitions (http://www.brandsofchoice.com.au/competitions) and you would have had to subscribe to receive the phone calls. Subscribing may have been from an email or a link on facebook.

continually calling from this number and several others. no i didn't complete an online survey so how they got my number i don't know. also on do not call register so will be reporting all of their numbers or will answer with a whistle blow in their ear if they keep calling.

Yup, same here, they tried on (02) 6100 5356, (02) 6188 5917, (02) 6100 5399 - isn't there anything the Telcos can do to stop this???

They called me again after telling them to remove me from their list, really bad business practice. if i get another call, I'll go to ACMA

yup, they called me, told them to remove my number as I'm on the do not call register, the guy just said okay before I hung up. if they call again, I'll let them talk longer to get a business name and then make an official complaint to ACMA

I am soooo sick of these spam callers. They just keep calling. Different extensions, but the same lot. Another one blocked

I received 11 calls on Friday last week, and all staring from the same Canberra area code and ending in differing numbers (Which I have been blocking). Keep asking for another person & I kept telling them to stop calling. I lost my Sh!t on Friday and told the lady off & threatened to take action. No calls until... yep started again today! 3 calls so far....scammers. I too am on the Do Not Call register & have since reported the numbers.

They probably just key in a random mobile number which happens to be yours. Thanks for your comments, number blocked

rang 4 Times today they ring hang leaving no message only because..i know this number before 5hat i know its spasm

called 5 times in one day! piss off already. What is happening in the telemarketer world lately? 18 spam calls in 2 days!
