Scammers.
Seriously if legislation was put in to permanently ban (or heavily fine to permit reinstatment) the international phone companies who facilitate these sort of scams by allow their customers entry to connect to the Australian networks with Australian ids this problem would go away really quickly.

Caller: Brand Choice

These people use many different numbers when calling and they all say they are from Brand Choice

Have had 3 calls from this and other similar numbers, all showing up as from Canberra, Australia. Have read comments from other contributors that these calls are scam and they are aggressive and persistent . Have blocked every number, but they come up with another to ring me. I don't answer any call from a number I don't recognise. If people want to talk to me & I miss their call, the can leave a message & 100% of the time, if it's telemarketing, charity or scam, a message is never left.

Calling every day and night. It shows on my phone as potential fraud, so I don't answer and block the number. Then I'm called the next day from a different number, but the phone displays the same fraud message. I don't trust them.

Started calling me around the time I started receiving malicious spam SMS messages. Treat with caution.

Got a missed call from this number. When I called back they picked up saying “Australian Taxation Office, how may I help you?”
First of all, I’m pretty sure the ATO would have a dedicated automatic message to direct your call to the relevant department.
Second, the guy had a strong Filipino accent.
He asked me for my full name which made me even more suspicious. And when I told him if I could call back cos I was busy, he asked me “what happened?” Like, why am I all of a sudden so busy.

Having same issue as comments above they are relentless all hrs of the day n night including weekends and if don't answer call instantly on another number..May have 4 times in row at once

i have blocked them all but they just keep calling from different extensions. I have reported them to the Do Not Call Register as i am registered with them. I have also now sent three emails directly to 'brands of choice' strongly suggesting they remove my number before I take it further.

I am unaware of where they have got my number from - I have not entered any competitions using my phone number. wondering if someone else has and they have entered a 'false' phone number which just happens to be mine? either way, NOT HAPPY JAN.

Very annoying calls. Called from different numbers day and night. Block them all!!
