Oh my gosh I just gave them my email address, but won't be giving them anything else....I didn't think it was true, but needed to get more information out of her....the website address brought me here, everything else she told me has already been written here...I too won the 2nd prize! Scammers.

today is 03/08/2010.  I got a call about three weeks ago about answering some questions about casinos.  1. Do you go to casinos?  2. what age do you think you should be able to enter casinos? 18 or 21?  can't remember the other one.  they rang the next week saying that they were going to send me an i-pod or mp4 player for answering their questions,  which i haven't recieved either, as it is important to their research and they are opening a casino in a new shopping centre in canberra. i was invited to a party in canberra and entered into the raffle they would be holding.  When invited to the party in cannberra tried explaining that i wouldn't be there because i am in a different state.  today I also got called by Lenie saying that I had won $400,000HKD in the second prize draw of the raffle. they tried ringing me last night (02/08/2010) but it was too noisy to hear.  they called me back today and i gave them my e-mail address.  they are ringing me tomorrow (wed 04/08/2010) at 10 am to help me fill in the forms.

My husband was told he won 400000hkd.  Looks like we've been taken in.  Did anyone go to this promotional party?  They actually sounded believable.  We were told it was on last Wednesday night 21st July.  Take care everybody.

Yep, I too answered a survey a week ago about casinos, then was told I had won an iPod that would be posted out to me... She sounded so grateful and raved about me being nice enough to answer the questions so yes, I gave her my email addess.

...A few days later (no iPod received) I was then invited to some launch party in Canberra held on Tuesday 3rd August and informed her that I lived interstate and wouldn't be attending.

.....Last night I was called again and congratulated for winning second prize - which surprise surprise was 400,000 HK or roughly $60,000. No Noreen spoke to me, I got 'Summer' who is quite difficult to understand. The winning ticket lists Liguan's email address as: liguangroup @ yahoo.com - you'd think a company that's so fond of launch parties and giving away second prizes would at least have their own domain name!

.....She just called to check that I've got my winning ticket and sign off form. I said that I know that it's a scam and hung up.
