yep, its a SCAM

An almost laughable SCAM if it wasn't so bloody irritating.

Total scam. Received call yesterday. Hav passed on to police.

I had a call today from someone calling himself Jason O,Connor from the ATO saying a law suit had been issued and they were taking us to
court and the police would be calling on us to arrest us.And would we call him back urgently. Fat chance!!!!

Thought it sounded a bit fishy.Thanks

SCAM claiming to be from the ATO. Stating arrest for unpaid tax & fraud.

Same as the rest, "Australian Tax Office" telling me i will have the local law enforcement be visiting me to arrest me for tax evasion. They do not like it if you ring them back and query them. They have hung up on me twice today when i have questioned them. Have reported them to the ATO who will give the details to their fraud dept.

I just got the same message. Do not phone them as it seems to be a scam.

As already posted I was left a message stating Jason O'Connor was calling from the ATO. Sounded genuine.

just received this call from them now - it is 10.24AM Monday the 18th April 2016
