Dodgey call, say they are from ANZ and have sent me something in the mail regarding 'my acc'. I don't have an ANZ acc! Don't give these scammers any personal details!!

persistent caller that does not leave any message, received calls from them 24/6, 25/6, 15/7, 16/7, 18/7, 22/7, 24/7 and 7/8.

Repeated phone calls, both in this number and 'No caller ID'. Nearly every hour, and I had one call at 3.30am! I rung the 02 number back once and there as a message saying it was from ANZ Insurance group. This is the second time I've been on the receiving end of these calls in the last 4 months.

I got the same number calling me today. Missed them the first few time, but then I answered once, no answer. I just blocked them now, after you're comments about telemarketing etc. Thanks for your help.

This guy called me and told me the ANZ system shows my previous cover/policy has lapsed. When I asked when was the policy lapsed and what exactly the policy was about he was not able to tell me any of my information. He is also very rude and aggressive. Totally did not sound like a trained telemarketer but more like a scammer. BEWARE NOT TO GIVE AWAY ANY INFORMATION and report the incidence.

I had missed calls from (02) 5610 5159 twice before answering on the third (all separate days, no voicemail left). It was ANZ selling life insurance. Initially the missed calls were during work hours however the one I answered was at 7:14pm. It was a typical sales call and interrupted my favourite TV show trying to sell me something that I hadn't asked for and didn't need. I do bank with ANZ and will be trying to establish how to get off this call list.

I received many calls from this number recently, 15/07/2014, and they said that they are calling from ANZ Bank, and asked me some information. They are dodgy people because I don't have an ANZ account.

I rang this number from a landline. it is the ANZ Bank Life Insurance section making a sales call. I asked that my mobile number be removed from the list and they said that would be done. I don't think it is anything sinister, just an annoying sales call.

I also have so many miss calls and calls from this number..and telling there from anz bank and ask me my e mail ad and my home ad..but I was not gave my informations ,but this number code is belongs to south African countries..

I keep receiving phone calls from this number too. now blocked!

I answered once but no one talked to me. I hung up. But this number keeps calling me. Scary.

Sick to death of being called, I think its time to dump my ANZ accounts. Pathetic business practice from a bank that should have much higher standards.

I got the same issue guys, this has been happening for 2 weeks now and I am really getting annoyed.

I suppose, the only solution is to ask them of where about they live- I means the main ANZ Office branch in your area, to visit in person.

Yep I get called almost every day. VERY ANNOYING! I've never answered it. My mobile is only for emergency uses & currently for use as an alarm so I remember to take a medication so I have to have it turned on. So to get this caller every day is like harassment. They are the only caller I have on this mobile number as I have NEVER given the number out to anyone. They must have got it by using one of those number generating softwares & because there is an answering service that saves my messages, it's considered an active number. Hence the need to keep calling me all the bloody time! grrrrrr
