I just googled this number after calls and hang ups and found this.

This is stalking, calling someone a couple of times a day for a month is stalking!!!!

Getting up to 8 calls a day have tried answering and declining, not answering, putting my 9 yr old son on to speak gibberish to them and nothing seems to work - getting to the point where I may change banks.

I was receiving up to 6 phone calls a day from ANZ insurance. I ignored them because I didn't know the number. I finally answered last week and told them I wasn't interested. The calls stopped for a week and I thought that was the end of it. Now they have started again. Not happy.

yes I agree with above comment, you will receive a letter from ANZ regarding buying insurance off them and then about 5 days later the calls start coming. aarrgghhh. I never answer a phone call unless I recognise the caller and my phone rings all day with these types of calls, another dodgy number is (07) 3135 4949 - never answer that number as well and they are persistent.

I have never given my mobile number out to anyone but trusted friends so how does ANZ(apparently) know it to call me????????

Obviously they have one of those web crawler things engines that just makes a number up & calls it & hopefully a real person might answer.

Well they bummed out with me because I know better than to answer any phone call these days even my landline number. I don't pick up unless my caller ID shows me who the caller is. If other callers want to speak to me that badly they will have to leave a message.

It IS ANZ Insurance; the calls always start about 5 days after they have sent some Insurance bullsh*t.

ANZ Insurance - or so they claim when you call back

Apparently yet another cold calling annoyance that pesters me with useless time wasting dross when I am travelling overseas.Inadvertently answering one of these pesterers when on an International roaming service can lead to a nice big charge on your phone account. Sometimes I get several per day from various similar entities. Idiots reminding me that I am going to die and need to be buried are particularly irksome.Oh, I didn't realise I was mortal, thanks so much for calling me to let me know that.Very annoying.

Number regularly calls and then hangs up.  I assume they are playing the game of people seeing missed calls and then returning them.  Pretty ordinary if indeed they are marketing on behalf of ANZ (thumbs down to ANZ for using allowing this tactic).  Answer one, and they just hang up!  Now on my blocked calls list.
