Scammer Alert - Australia Post Have a Samsung S23 so its very good in identifying a call coming through as Suspected Spam. Received a call like from this number. and asked for me by name. Very concerning that they know my name. Claimed that they had a parcel for me and given the unique circumstances, they felt it appropriate to open this parcel to find three different credit/debit cards in my name from three different banks. Wanted to know if i was the victim of identity theft so I played along. Gave me a case number, and worker ID number for himself. Started to ask questions about how many bank accounts I did have and said I wasn't willing to answer that because there's no logical reason why I would share. Was told that I could have my drivers license, tax file number and bank accounts ceased as a result of not answering the question. Told him I was comfortable in taking the risk. I started to ask why I was asked for by name, and they hung up. Please be careful with information you share.

(Harden, NSW). Accent recorded message about marketing campaign and suggested leaving a message after the tone so they will call back. No mention of what the marketing campaign (?) is about.

It took ages from someone to speak, which was the first clue. Male with heavy accent identified himself as being from Visa card services. I don't have a visa card. Call swiftly terminated.

Caller: Scammer Pretending to be from VISA fraud team. Had wrong name but played along with it. Wanted to cancel card which he couldn't give me details of (ie last 4 numbers). Supposed fraud transactions were from Coles and Amazon. Beware!
