I've blocked all (02) numbers, fortunately, so this new lot of what are almost certainly scamming lowlifes haven't managed to get through. This number tried to phone, in the evening, the day after I got a call from the similar number (02) 5133 5237 - another lot using a series of numbers for their relentless harassment.
Please never answer calls from unknown numbers.

The business model of these parasites is to "conduct charity calls on behalf of various Non-Profit organizations". In other words they are set up to hound people with unsolicited phone calls. There is an "Opt-out" form on their website but it makes no difference, they still phone again and again and again. Please report them to ASIC. If they get enough complains maybe they will actually do something.

These people calling on (02) 5133 5237 on behalf of a kindness project which is NOT a registered CHARITY should not be given exemption by the DO NOT CALL REGISTER.
As a non-charity organization, the so called KINDNESS PROJECT should banned to calling anyone on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER.
We should all formally lodge a complaint with the DO NOT CALL REGISTER that the calls made the KINDNESS PROJECT are harassing and KINDNESS PROJECT is NOT a CHARITY GROUP.

These are relentless, lowlife scammers who refuse to stop trying to harass people no matter what they resort to. They are rabid and WILL NOT STOP calling even if you have never once answered and all the numbers they use (ending in 5232, 5234, 5236, 5237, 5238, 5239 and 5243 so far). I am enraged now when I see that there's been yet another attempted call even though the phone hasn't rung.
I've reported the numbers they use several times to Scamwatch. Please do the same if you have time and perhaps action will eventually be taken. They aren't a "survey company". They are bottom-feeding relentless harassers of innocent people. Please do not ever answer the phone when they call, ever, or call back.

Pregnant pause while it connected to Mumbai.......... Spoke english but with Indian accent. Claimed to represent "a number of Australian Charities." Yeah Right.......... I asked for the charity's bank account number and password and if not could I have her bank account number and password. I explained if they cold call and want to make money from me then I want to make money from them first. She was confused and hung up........

Didnt answer as phone said "Suspected Spam". Getting repeated calls but no message left.

More spam from a set of similar numbers, with no messages left. Probably not a coincidence that these calls have suddenly started coming from Canberra numbers at tax time.
