Caller: "John from internet services..."

I didn't answer the first call from this number and checked who it belonged to. I do not know the owner of this number. I did answer the second call though, and the recorded message was: "This is John from internet services... internet will be disconnected in four hours ... press ...", the usual thing.

I suspect this is a spoofed number. Do not ring the number to find out who the caller was as it either may be diverted to another number or disconnected.

And, of course, do not respond to the request to 'press whatever number' to avoid the internet being disconnected.

No message left...obvious not a bona fide caller...now barred...

received a call, to my answer machine recording saying to speak to consultant press one.
