Icalled the number b.c. back Is diconnected please block calls hangs up please

Caller: (02) 4963 5880

I never answer calls from numbers I don't know but this is a local (Newcastle) number. Gave it a second then hung up.

Normally I let unknown numbers go to voicemail. But, I answered becuase it was local. Asian accent, said his name was Matthew and said something I didn't understand. Twice, I asked to repeat. "Sorry, about my what?", he repeats himself. "Did you say my electricity account?" then he hangs up. Could be a new trick to piss them off, pretend to be deaf and ask to repeat, they don't like repeating themselves. Anyway, checked on here to confirm what I knew. Scammers have found a Newcastle number to exploit.

Same as above. I got 2 calls to mobile - no message left. Rang number & it was disconnected. Blocked it on my phone.

Caller phishing for info. Block this number.

Fed up with so many prank calls from these morons!!

Received a call from this number 5.12.18 said hello twice then I hanged up don't know who it is

RECEIVED A CALL FORM THIS NUMBER BUT I LET IT GO TO VOICEMAIL .. THEY DIDNT LEAVE A MESSAGE and I am not calling back as the number is way out of my area. I dont know anyone in (02) area.

Received a phone call from (02) 4963 5880 on the 26th November 2018. Tried to call back and was told that the number couldn’t be connected.

I called back number (02) 4963 5880 rang once then goes to busy tone.
