Caller: Alise
claiming to be Telstra Technical Department. When I immediately asked if they have finally fixed the issue, Alise hang up. Noisy background, akin to a call centre/phone farm in S/E Asia; probably Indonesia or India.
Typical Cold Call SCAM.
BURN them at the stake, say I.
So Much for the Do Not Call Register. Our politicians should really do their job and keep us, their Masters and Public, safe. Use the Defence Signals Directorate to snuff out these scam callers for once and for all.

Recorded Asian/American female voice: Hi, this is Alison from Microsoft. We have been trying to get in contact with you. You are about to be disconnected ...
This looks like a legitimate phone number from my town, and that is why I answered it.

Scammer claiming to be from Microsoft saying licence has expired and computer would be disconnected, also that IP address had been "compromised" - press button 1 to connect. Tried that and the idiots hung up before I had a chance to ask them what my IP address actually was.

They scammed your info by asking you to go to your computer to type some commands. They keep calling multiple times per day. Very annoying.
