New phone number for the AGL billing scam. You receive a text from this number although it shows as "AGLEnergy" as the sender on my phone.

Message says "We notice we have not received your latest instalment. Please pay or call 1300 658 955 to discuss your options. Ref# is (03) 1811 9094196830"

This is a scam. I have confirmed it by checking the 1300 number plus I dont pay by instalments and know my account is paid . Could easily mislead someone as it is not as obvious as other scams.

Received a text message from this number after paying my AGL bill 2 days ago saying "We tried emailing you some information, however there was an error. Please check your details at agl.com.au/myaccount" I have blocked and reported it.

Got a text msg:
We found a credit of $50.0 on your closed Electricity account. To help clear this up, we’ll transfer this to your current active Electricity account within the next 7 days and you’ll see the credit on your next bill. To stop the transfer please call us on 131 245.

if this is indeed spam it still is around in 2022

Scam. Text message from AGL Payments said Your AGL solar refund of $218.03 has been processed. Please allow 5-10 business days to receive your cheque.
Further text 4 days later from AGL energy Confirming a refund of $218.03 was successfully processed for electricity account ending in ….

got bill due reminder with reference number: 812779729091772427

Got a text message from this number as AGLEnergy stating that there was a change to direct debit terms with link to see new version of terms. Obviously a scam
