Recent changes in society, including changing communications technology and the continued focus on the roles of women, have brought about big changes in the way men relate to each other and the world.
Sadly, it seems many men have become disconnected from the world, from each other and particularly their own families. In the work we do, we see the end results of this on a daily basis.
We feel the best way to tackle the situation is to start with helping men reconnect with each other, in a neutral setting where they can talk, share their stories, and hopefully learn from other men in the group..
Men4life Support group is now in the process of planning a camp in November (Friday 8th to Sunday the 10th 2013). We will be holding the camp at www.MerryBeachCaravanresort.com.au

The target group for this camp will be for men from the Men4life Support group, who are suffering from many hardships within their personal lives. This camp will offer these men a chance to get away for a few days and interact with support workers. The weekend will consist of various activities like; Fishing, Snorkelling, Bush Walking, Camp cooking and sitting around the fire and simply just interacting in a positive way with others, but to make it happen we need help with providing camping equipment such as tents, sleeping bags, fishing rods and equipment, cooking utensils and any other relevant accessories.
We are also asking for donations of food for the weekend of the camp, fresh food or packaged would all be greatly appreciated!
