Second call in two days, recorded message which seemed to start mid way into announcement, something to do with a pre authorised purchase from Apple... at which point I hung up.

Missed the call and no message left. Assume spam in these cases.

Caller: Amazon prime

Recorded Call saying from Amazon prime and $1049 is being charged to my account, and to press 1 !
Scammers cos I don’t have Amazon

Said Norwa NSW said it was Amazon and to press 1 something about my account....the one I don't have... don't press anything but hangup

Spam call from Nowra, as if calling from CBA. Once I found that it’s scam he started yelling and swearing. Definitely a south east Asian accent, most likely a Pilipino

Caller: Scam from Telstra

Scammers claiming they are from telstra - probably a refund scam using gift cards are something. Caller ID claimed it was from Nowra like everyone else has said.

Caller: ACSC - Kevin & David Watson (supervisor)

Called stating they were from Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC). My phone IP address was being used in the US. Gets you to look at your IP address (my 1p address location) to show that it was in the USA. Wanted to get me to install a remote access app so that "I could report this to the Aus Govt ACSC to block illegal use" - he wants you to enter the password 'block829'. I refused and insisted on a number to call - then got cranky that I had wasted his time and that his time could have been used to locate a missing person. Knew my email address, first name & mobile number. Foreign accent.

The caller claimed to be from visa/mastercard department regarding a potential unauthorised transaction from my account to a foreign charity.
I requested more details about the card in question and the unauthorised activity. The caller hung up.

scammers pretending to be NBN - I laughed immediately because I don't have this hooked up and they hung up on the spot :)

Caller: Indian Scammers

I am a network engineer by profession, and they called me. Some Indian dude with strong accent claimed to be David, and wanted me to install Team Viewer, which is a typical tool used by the Indians.
I said I love tandoori Chicken CURRY, and the Indian David dude hung up.

I received calls from this number last couple of days. When I received nobody talks, if I call back they immediate cut the call.

Called me from a Nowra number
Didn't say anything and just hung up

Caller: Indian accent

Foreign accent - I hung up after three words. Call from Nowra NSW.

Began to say from Visa centre. Woman with American accent. I hung up. Scam.

(02) 4405 5966 NOWRA claimed he was from telstra and wanted to fix my internet speed - im not with telstra

dunno, but clearly from these comments, they seem dodge.

got a call today at 11:50am - looking at the comments ive had similar scam calls like this recently - safe to say this was a scammer. you can 1. play along with their foolishness (the more i waste their time, the less time they could be potentially hurting a vulnerable person) or 2. call them out on their Bulls*** or 3. ignore

Automatice voice. "You have purchased iPhone 11 on Amazon....Press 1..." Just Rubbish!
