Caller: Said from NBN

They told me they are going to fix my computer as there is a problem with the internet. I said how long is it going to take you to fix it he said turn on your computer. I said I know exactly what you are doing as you are a scammer so stop call us in Australia. He hung up.

Something to do with NBN.....another scam.

Caller: MasterCard Fraud Department

Scammers called me from the phone number (02) 4405 5966 NOWRA, NSW.

Caller posing as calling from MasterCard Fraud Department.

I could hear other people talking in the background, as if they’re in a call centre! Perhaps doing dodgy things on the side of their day job? Otherwise there’s a lot of people in a room calling out people to scam.

Note that I have only just got this mobile number from Optus with my new mobile phone. 😡

Called me and told me they from the bank and that there was a problem with my visa and that it was very important. I asked which bank, they didn’t answer initially but I pressed, they said NAB. I’m not with NAB so hung up. Indian man, very insistent, shouted over the top of me which made me shout at him, I’m not a shouty person.

Automated message/recording second call for the day as I answered this one. Said I’m going to be charged 299.99 for my purchase so automatically hung up

Claiming that varication for Visa and master card. I said i don't have any credit card. She hang up.
def Spam. also got the call from QLD AUS (07) 3521 3088 was also verification for card.

Had a call from (08) 7123 3963 wanting to do a survey. I said no, hung up and blocked number then this number called straight after. I didn't answer and blocked. How do these scammers keep getting access to all these phone numbers??????

Indian accent. Claimed he was from CBA Fraud Investigations. I said that I don't bank with the CBA. I said that I was going to record the call and pass it onto the Police. He hung up.

Caller: Visa department

Claimed to be from the ‘visa department’, calling about a charge from overseas.
When asked what visa department they were calling from they said Commonwealth Bank. Didn’t trust it as soon as they said they were from the visa department but I don’t bank with commonwealth bank so knew then for sure it was a scam call.

They have called me twice today in regards to a Telstra internet connection. I laughed and said your not from Telstra and he said you are right I'm not, whats your Instagram so I can add you? very odd! but confirmed SCAM

Called saying my ANZ account (Visa /debit card had made a $3000+ purchase in California. I don't have an ANZ account!

Stating he was from commonwealth bank and I had transaction overseas that he was trying to stop. Wanted me to connect my bank to his ip server so he could stop transaction. I said I would ring my bank and he said they would no nothing about it and he would stop it for me. Obviously a scam

Had 2 calls today 1 from 0590 328 386 345 and 1 from (02) 4405 5966 Both Scam's saying there from eBay Saying they where tacking $199 from my account for a payment that didn't go through.

Caller: Vermin

Another scam caller - call originated from Nowra claiming to be Ebay saying that my account had $500 taken and to reclaim press 1 or 2 -wt! - Hell No. Getting sick of all these daily scam calls and or texts. Makes me never want to answer a call, even though it could be legitimate. Block and delete immediately and never ever press any numbers when you receive these scam calls.

Pretty sure it's a scammer. I've been getting them a lot - five or more a day - the past week. They've somehow discovered my mobile phone number.

Today's call was on my landline, the Indian was almost indecipherable, horrible quality of audio as well as the accent. While the number (02) 4405 5966 is somewhere in NSW, I assume, I guess they're funneling a low-quality connection through from India.

Anyway, I was about to hang up on the landline when my mobile went off - same number! Much better quality. I told Indian 'Trevor' from the NBN that he was an evil scammer and hung up.

I the didn't answer based on previous comments.

Just kept repeating hello after me till I hung up
