Caller: The so called "legitimate Research Company"

While they may be a "legitimate Research Company", Local Councils aren't useful and helpful.
As has been shown in the media, all of those Councils and related Local Government entities that have been investigated for cause, have been shown to be either incompetent and/or corrupt.
As for having a say, unless you agree with the current group think of the Bully class that owns and runs these Councils, then the last thing they tend to do, based on clear empirical evidence, over many decades, is to assist their local constituents for the good of all.
All Australian councils should be locally and regionally amalgamated, politicians and related Grievance Mongers and Carpet Baggers removed from the Management structure/Positions of authority and the trimmed down organisation should be given a clearly written set of tasks to return to their basic function.
A. Be responsible for economical Waste removal.
B. Fix your local Roads and related infrastructure in a cost effective manner.
C Be subject to random or ongoing audits of their Finances and Outcomes.

I don't care for, as most other Australians don't care for, for these predominantly corrupt and/or incompetent Kletopcrats enabling others in making excuses to waste time, resources and my forced ever increasing hard earned income to be deprived in the form of "payments" to these self serving grubs.
So, no, I don't welcome these rude self serving calls and neither should anybody else.

All these reports on here calling it spam/unsolicited/c#nt from wyong... the tin foil is in aisle 8 babes <3 you've shared your number with your local council, they contract these companies to conduct research for them. You'll all complain about how trash your local govt area is but won't actually participate in market research to share your feedback. idiots.

Company is a legitimate Research Company contracted by Local Government Councils. They conduct several different types of surveys but the main one is a community survey that asks for your importance and satisfaction of the various services and facilities provided by your local government. It is your chance to have a say on what is provided by your Council and to scorecard what they do for you in your local area. You are providing feedback on what happens in your local area

The caller took long time to say hello, and when I asked where she was calling from, she told me couple of times but I couldn't comprehend. I asked what it was about and she just hung up.

I’ve read a few comments here. I really wish this was the worst of my concerns. As someone else has said, you lot are exactly the people to ring up A Current Affair complaining about your local council. Your local council spends money to consult with the community and you rage on here using awful language. What an angry life to choose. Be kind to others, you’ll find it comes back to you in spades.

Calls about taking a survey. Claims I gave them my number which I never did. Blocked instantly.

I received a phone call 16th March 2019 on my landline and they hung up without leaving any message, which is an absolute pain, so I returned a call and an answering machine suggested that there was no one available to answer a call so leave a message.
This type of "prank call" should be outlawed and the operator forced to pay a heavy fine.

Wanted to talk to people in specific age group. Told them I couldn't help.

I've never lived anywhere near Wyong, and had my phone number since analogue days, then transitioned to digital with the same last 6 digits. I'm going to agree with the some c@nt from Wyong.

Have you ever considered that there is a human on the other end of the phone, working to make an honest living? How embarrassing, for you to post such a thing. This company is in Wyong. Hard working Aussies in a call centre. Get a grip.
